Print brackets, weigh-in sheets, and bout lists

Snapdown runs the event on screens, so paper is optional. When you want a backup anyway, it can give you brackets as a PDF, weigh-in sheets, table sheets listing the bouts on each mat, a list of each team’s bout numbers for coaches, and the roster as a spreadsheet.

The one habit worth forming: print brackets from Tournament Progress. Snapdown remembers which brackets you printed there, so when bout numbers change later it can tell you exactly which ones to reprint.

Anything you print is a snapshot, so wait until the field and the bout numbers are settled.

Snapdown doesn’t print a scoresheet or bout card for each match. The closest you’ll get is the table sheets and the brackets, which both show bout numbers. To keep score at the mat, use Table Scoring on a phone, tablet, or laptop. It records each result as the bout ends. If your mats score on paper anyway, the head table can type the results in from the sheets.

On Tournament Progress, choose Select Brackets, tick the ones you want, and choose Print Selected. You get one PDF in division order, and each bracket in it is marked printed. Filter to a division and use Select Visible to grab all of it at once, or print a single bracket from its row’s ⋮ menu. In the phone or tablet app, the print buttons become share buttons, so you can print from the share sheet or send the file to a computer.

Each bracket gets its own page. Big brackets with wrestlebacks put the championship and consolation sides on separate pages. Printed brackets carry your event branding.

The Printed column shows what has been printed and when. Click the circle to mark or unmark a bracket by hand.

The Brackets page can print too, even before anything is built, which is handy for checking the draw. Unbuilt brackets come out without bout numbers. Those prints aren’t marked, so if they end up at the tables, mark them printed on Tournament Progress.

When a change renumbers a printed bracket, Snapdown clears its printed mark, and the confirmation ends with Reprint: and the bracket names. Rebuilding the whole schedule clears every printed bracket. A smaller fix clears only the ones that changed.

To catch up, sort Tournament Progress by the Printed column, select the unmarked brackets, and print them again. Table sheets and team lists aren’t tracked, so reprint those yourself after any renumbering.

The printer button on Weigh-ins prints sheets by team or by weight class. The weight class option shows up once wrestlers have weight classes. Each team or class gets its own page, with a blank weight column to write in and a few empty rows for walk-ins. Enter the weights in Snapdown afterwards.

With System-Managed Scheduling, the Print button above the Schedule Preview on Match Publishing offers two sheets. It turns on once the schedule is published with no pending changes, since both use published bout numbers.

Table sheets go mat by mat, showing each bracket’s bouts by round with bout numbers, wrestlers, and teams. They print only what the preview is showing, so if Show more brackets appears, click it until it’s gone first. With Tournament Queue (Pull On Demand), bouts don’t have mats yet, so you get one shared match pool list instead.

Team matches give each team a page listing every wrestler’s bout numbers. That’s the one coaches want.

Director Managed scheduling has no print menu here. Print the brackets instead.

The settings button on Roster has Export Roster, which saves an Excel file with each wrestler’s team, weight, division, and weight class.
