Review registration changes before updating the roster

For individual registration, the Registrations list and event Roster are separate. New online entries, and changes families make to them, need a roster update before brackets use them. On Registrations choose Update Roster; the Roster page can also show Review changes or Update from Registrations.

Your own work doesn’t land here. Manual entries, your corrections, refunds, and withdrawals reach the roster when you save them, and scratches never show up as pending. For why registrations wait, and which changes happen right away instead, see How registrations reach your roster.

Review what will change

The first update can be a simple list of wrestlers to add. Later reviews group entries into Needs your decision, Changes, Removals, and Adds. For a changed entry, compare the roster value with the registration value before applying it. A cancelled or refunded registration may propose removal from the event.

A wrestler you refunded or withdrew who registers again shows up under Changes as Returning to [division]. Applying it brings back their old entry there, and any earlier refund stands.

Choose Apply updates for the changes you have reviewed. The action label includes the number of updates it will apply. Rows needing a decision remain in the review until you resolve them; safe rows can still be applied.

Resolve a conflict

The available choices depend on what happened to that wrestler:

Choice	When to use it
Fix registration	Correct missing or incompatible entry details.
Keep roster as is	Leave this roster entry unchanged. For a new entry, the label is Don’t add; for other cases it may say Keep on roster or Keep current division.
Move to [division]	The registration moved to another division but the wrestler is still in a bracket. They leave that bracket, where their spot becomes a bye, and need one in the new division.
Withdraw from [division]	Take them out of that division only; their other divisions stay. Before they’ve wrestled, their bracket spots become byes. After, their results stand and their remaining bouts there become forfeits.
Apply anyway	Consider a competing wrestler’s team or gender correction after reviewing its effect on existing competition and team points.
Enter anyway	The entry is outside its division’s age, grade, or gender rules and you want them in it on purpose. Snapdown remembers the answer for that registration.

A Keep decision lasts until the registration changes. You can also undo it from the kept as is list.

Snapdown blocks ordinary changes that would disturb a bracket or recorded result. Do not change a registration’s name to represent another child; use Fix a registration for the wrong wrestler instead.

Before building or publishing

Brackets and Match Publishing can warn that registration changes are not yet on the roster. On Brackets, only changes in the divisions you’re working on count. Review changes opens the same review; once the roster is up to date, Snapdown asks whether to carry on. Continue without updating leaves the current event roster in use, and you won’t be asked again until something else changes. Choose it only when the pending entries are intentionally out of scope.

Repeat the review after late online registrations or changes families make. The review shows when the roster is already up to date.
