Fix a registration for the wrong wrestler
If a parent selected the wrong child during individual online registration, the director cannot switch that paid entry to a different wrestler. Each entry belongs to a wrestler’s identity and division. Correct Details is for correcting that entry’s details, not substituting another child.
Refund the incorrect entry
Section titled “Refund the incorrect entry”Find the incorrect wrestler on the event’s Registrations page. Use the three-dot menu and choose Refund payment. Review the amount returned to the original payment method and any nonrefundable Snapdown or card processing fees.
If the wrestler was already synced to the event, choose Refund & remove from event when removal is appropriate and available. Refund only leaves the wrestler on the event roster, so the director must address that roster entry separately. Once a wrestler is bracketed or matched, automatic roster removal may be blocked even if the refund succeeds. Resolve the competition entry before it is scheduled again; if a bout has started or has a result, review the bracket correction guidance.
Register the intended wrestler
Section titled “Register the intended wrestler”Tell the parent to select the intended wrestler and complete a new registration. If the child does not yet have a main wrestler profile, the parent should create it first. Then run Sync to Event again and check the new entry’s division, weigh-in, and bracket placement.
The new checkout is a separate purchase. Refunding the original entry does not move its payment or registration to the new wrestler. See Refunds and event cancellations for what the refund returns.
For an entry paid outside Snapdown, reconcile the original payment with the family directly; Snapdown cannot send an offline refund. The director can then make a new manual registration using the intended wrestler’s SNAP ID.
