Repair matches and schedule queues

A built match, a posted match, a prepared schedule queue, and a match loaded onto a mat are different things. Choose the action that matches the mistake. Each repair shows a fresh impact preview before it runs.

Remove or hide matches from Brackets

Open the bracket’s actions menu, or select several brackets for a batch action. A clean draft shows Undo build. Once its bouts have been posted or numbered, the action is Remove matches…. Both remove the selected brackets’ built matches and their queue placements while keeping the brackets and wrestlers. Rebuild when the bracket setup is correct, then publish the new matches.

If the matches are correct and should simply stop appearing in the public Matches list, choose Take matches offline… instead. The built bouts and their numbers stay, but affected unstarted bouts leave their schedule queues and mats. Hiding a bracket with Hide only changes the bracket’s visibility; it does not take its matches offline.

Read the impact preview carefully. An auto-completed bye can be removed with its matches, including its advancement. If a later bout depends on the selection, include that later bracket in the repair. A bout in progress blocks the repair. Removing matches with recorded results requires a separate typed confirmation because those results will be deleted.

Clear or hold a schedule queue

On Match Publishing, open the relevant schedule’s actions menu. Clear waiting queue… removes its unstarted queue entries, including waiting bouts loaded on mats. The rule, match rows, bout numbers, and posted status stay. Started and completed bouts stay in place. Prepare the corrected queue before launching it again.

Take queued matches offline… is for bouts that should also leave the public Matches list. It keeps built rows and bout numbers. It cannot be used to quietly hide a recorded result.

Preparing a queue does not require a mat assignment. A published bout in a prepared queue can appear in the public Matches list with its mat still to be determined. It does not claim a live mat slot until the schedule is launched or the bout is loaded. If the queue is cleared, a posted bout can remain visible without a prepared schedule.

Deleting a schedule deletes its rule and prepared queue, but keeps matches and bout numbers. Matches already loaded on mats remain there. Review the confirmation if your goal is to remove public matches or clear a live mat.

Move waiting work off a mat

Use Unload Waiting in Mat Control Center when the mat has the wrong work. Waiting bouts return to their assignment group and can be loaded again. Started, completed, and bye matches stay. If an active mat is pulling from the same group, pause or reassign it first when you need to prevent immediate refill.
