Reset selected tournament data
Reset Tournament Data is for rebuilding a standalone tournament’s data from an earlier stage. It permanently deletes the sections you select while keeping the event and its settings. Use the narrower match and queue repair actions when only a bracket, schedule, or mat needs correction.
Open the three-dot menu on Event Configuration and choose Reset Tournament Data. The dialog shows current counts. Choose the sections to remove, type the tournament name, and review the final confirmation.
Choose the smallest scope that solves the problem
Section titled “Choose the smallest scope that solves the problem”| Selection | Effect |
|---|---|
| Matches | Removes bouts, results, queue entries, and bracket totals. |
| Brackets | Also selects matches and tournament rounds. |
| Tournament rounds | Removes schedule groups and their items. |
| Division assignments | Clears division memberships while wrestlers remain on the event roster. |
| Wrestlers | Clears the event roster and event-owned wrestler records, along with competition data and assignments. |
The dialog selects required dependent sections automatically. Check every selected count before confirming. A reset does not restore previous results or queue positions.
Production registrations and their payment history are preserved. When registrations remain, Teams and Divisions cannot be reset because the entries still refer to them. Paid team entries also prevent those structural deletions. The registration deletion option is available only in development environments, not a live tournament.
If another administrator changes the tournament after you open the dialog, Snapdown asks you to reopen it rather than applying an out-of-date reset. After a reset, review the remaining roster and registration data before rebuilding brackets and republishing matches.
