Review registration changes before updating the roster

For individual registration, the Registrations list and event Roster are separate. New entries and later corrections need a roster update before brackets use them. On Registrations choose Update Roster; the Roster page can also show Review changes or Update from Registrations.

Review what will change

The first update can be a simple list of wrestlers to add. Later reviews group entries into Needs your decision, Changes, Removals, and Adds. For a changed entry, compare the roster value with the registration value before applying it. A cancelled or refunded registration may propose removal from the event.

Choose Apply updates for the changes you have reviewed. The action label includes the number of updates it will apply. Rows needing a decision remain in the review until you resolve them; safe rows can still be applied.

Resolve a conflict

The available choices depend on what happened to that wrestler:

Choice	When to use it
Fix registration	Correct missing or incompatible entry details.
Keep roster as is	Leave this roster entry unchanged. For a new entry, the label is Don’t add; for other cases it may say Keep on roster or Keep current division.
Move to [division] or Remove from event	Resolve an affected bracket spot before updating the roster. A vacated spot can become a bye and advance an opponent.
Withdraw	Preserve completed results and resolve remaining matches under the withdrawal rules.
Apply anyway	Consider a competing wrestler’s team or gender correction after reviewing its effect on existing competition and team points.

A Keep decision lasts until the registration changes. You can also undo it from the kept as is list.

Snapdown blocks ordinary changes that would disturb a bracket or recorded result. Do not change a registration’s name to represent another child; use Fix a registration for the wrong wrestler instead.

Before building or publishing

Brackets and Match Publishing can warn that registration changes are not yet on the roster. Review changes opens the same review; after applying it, retry the bracket or publishing action. Continue without updating leaves the current event roster in use, so choose it only when the pending entries are intentionally out of scope.

Repeat the review after late registrations, corrections, withdrawals, or refunds. The review shows when the roster is already up to date.
