When you enable online registration, Snapdown collects each parent’s payment at checkout and holds your proceeds until after your event. Card processing, payment disputes, and chargebacks are handled on our side. You run the event.
The money, step by step
- A parent registers and pays. Snapdown processes the charge, and their card statement shows Snapdown alongside your event name.
- Your pending payout grows in real time. Open your event’s Billing tab for purchaser totals, Tournament Registration Amounts, Snapdown Platform Fees, Processing Fees, refunds, disputes, and the net amount headed your way.
- After your event, Snapdown sends your proceeds to the bank account on your Stripe payout profile, typically within 3–5 business days of your event’s end date. See When you get paid.

You choose how the parent sees the price, and that choice decides who bears the fees.
Fees added shows your advertised Tournament Registration Amount with System and Processing Fees on top, which preserves your advertised amount as organizer proceeds.
Clean price shows families one advertised total with all three accounting components calculated inside it, so the System and Processing Fees come out of that advertised amount.
Either way, your Billing tab shows the resulting Tournament Registration Amount.
Why the processing line can differ by a few cents
Online card payments include a Payment Processing Fee. Add it at checkout so the registrant pays it separately, or include it in your advertised registration price and have it deducted from your proceeds. The purchase screen shows the full total before payment either way.
Actual card-network costs vary a little by card type. Rather than quietly keeping the difference between the checkout estimate and the real cost, your Billing tab shows what it actually came to.
Entries outside online registration
One registration entry means one wrestler entered in one division, so a wrestler entered in two divisions counts as two entries.
The Snapdown Platform Fee applies to every entry, however it arrived: through Snapdown checkout, entered manually, imported from a file, carried over from another registration system, or added as a day-of-event walk-up. Fees already collected during Snapdown checkout are not charged again. All remaining active entries are invoiced after the event at the same resolved per-entry rate, due within 14 days. Cancelled, void, and designated test entries are not billed.
