Registration Payments & Payouts

When you get paid

Proceeds are sent after your event ends, typically within 3–5 business days, to the bank account on your Stripe payout profile.

Snapdown sends your event’s proceeds after the event ends, typically within 3–5 business days. From there the transfer follows your bank’s normal deposit timing. Every payout appears in your Stripe Express dashboard.

Why after the event?

Waiting until the event has happened keeps most refunds inside the event ledger. If an entry is refunded or the event changes before payout, the money is all still in one place. Once a payout has gone out, a later refund, dispute, or chargeback can create an organizer balance or invoice instead.

Things worth knowing

Late registrations after a payout are not lost. They accumulate as a new pending payout and go out as a second transfer.

A payment still settling at payout time rolls into the next payout automatically. Card networks sometimes take a beat to confirm the final processing fee.

A disputed payment is held out until the dispute resolves. Credited principal returns to your payout. Any Stripe or network fee that was not actually credited stays an event cost.

Payout setup can wait. Open registration and collect entries before you finish Stripe setup if you want; proceeds simply sit until your payout account is ready, and the Billing tab shows exactly how much is waiting.
