Does Snapdown run the tournament for us?
No. Your staff runs tournament day, and Snapdown is designed to make that straightforward. Before your first event, we can help configure the setup, walk through your format, and train the people who will operate it. The help center, walkthrough videos, and our team are there when questions come up while you prepare.
What tournament formats do you support?
4 to 64-person brackets, round robins, pigtails, pool-to-bracket, and dual meets. The formats wrestling events actually use.
How does bracket generation work?
Define weight classes and assign wrestlers, or let Snapdown create groups by weight. After check-in, set seeds where needed and generate brackets in a few steps.
What happens when a wrestler scratches?
Directors can adjust brackets quickly when no-shows or scratches happen. Update that part of the bracket and keep the event moving.
Can parents follow along remotely?
Yes. Parents can see live brackets, scores, results, mat assignments, and how many matches are ahead in the Snapdown app whether they are in the gym or somewhere else.
What equipment do we need for scoring?
Snapdown does not require proprietary hardware. We recommend a Chromebook or laptop at each mat with an external monitor facing the crowd. A tablet can work when needed, but a laptop is usually easiest for table workers.
How much does it cost?
Standard self-serve tournament pricing is a $100 setup fee plus a $1 Registration System Fee per active registration entry. One entry means one wrestler entered in one division, so two divisions count as two entries. Online, manual, imported, external-system, and walk-up entries use the same rate; fees collected during Snapdown checkout are not charged again, and remaining entries are invoiced after the event on 14-day terms. Free fan access is included. Your purchase screen shows any custom organizer rate. Duals, tris, and quads start at a flat $50 and are currently set up with our help. Contact us for multi-event or season pricing.
Do you have online registration, and does it cost extra?
Yes. Online registration is included at no additional Snapdown platform charge. Your event setup fee and flat per-registration-entry rate stay the same whether an entry comes through Snapdown, is entered manually, is imported, or is added as a walk-up. Fees collected during Snapdown checkout are not charged again; remaining active entries are invoiced after the event on 14-day terms. Online card payments include a Payment Processing Fee. You can add it at checkout so the registrant pays it separately, or include it within your advertised registration price, in which case it is deducted from your proceeds. The purchase screen shows the full total before payment. Snapdown sends your registration proceeds within 3–5 business days of your event ending.
