You run the event. We make sure you can.Creating it is self-serve and takes a few minutes. Before the doors open we'll walk your format, tell you how we'd set it up, and give you a practice event; your table workers get documentation and short videos. On the day, weigh-ins, the floor, and the scoring table are yours.

Does Snapdown run our tournament for us?

Your staff runs the floor on the day. Everything before it we will help with: we'll walk your format, tell you how we'd set it up, answer questions while you prepare, and give you a practice event to run first. Duals, tris, and quads we still set up by hand, and if your event is unusual, ask us.

Do parents have to pay for the app?

At a tournament, not for the basics. Your $1 per-entry fee covers basic access, so families can find their wrestler, see the mat, how many matches until they go, the bracket, and the result without paying. Live scoring as the match happens, push notifications, and advanced stats are a Snapdown PRO subscription at$5/mo that the parent buys.

Leagues work differently. A season fee has no per-entry component, so there is nothing funding an included tier — league app access is that same PRO subscription, paid by the parent rather than out of your league budget.

Who pays the card-processing fee?

Online card payments include a Payment Processing Fee. You can add it at checkout so the registrant pays it separately, or include it within your advertised registration price, in which case it is deducted from your proceeds. The purchase screen shows the full total before payment.

Can I see Snapdown before purchasing?

Yes, two ways. A quick demo is a call where we walk your format and answer questions. A demo event is a free environment of your own where you and your staff run a practice tournament start to finish. We recommend the demo event, and we build it by hand when you ask. Buying a real league or tournament is separate and happens at checkout.

Do we need special equipment?

No proprietary hardware is required. Snapdown runs on phones, tablets, and laptops you already have. For tournament scoring, we recommend a Chromebook or laptop at each mat with a monitor facing the crowd.
