Built by a League Director
Not by a software company that thought wrestling looked interesting.
The Problem
Every Sunday, we had 650+ kids showing up to wrestle. And every Sunday, I was stuck making brackets by hand.
Spreadsheets. Sticky notes. Walking around the gym asking coaches who should wrestle whom. Hours of work before the first match — way more than two hours most weeks. And parents still complained the matchups weren't fair.
Then kids no-showed and we scrambled to rebuild brackets on the fly. Then we printed paper bout sheets and had to record all the results by hand afterward. The whole process was exhausting.
The existing software didn't help. It was built for high school tournaments, not youth leagues. No way to match kids by skill. No way to avoid repeat matchups from last week. No way to handle 650 kids without losing my mind.
So I built something better.
The Solution
Snapdown started as a tool to solve my own problem. An algorithm that could look at every wrestler — their weight, age, skill level, win/loss record — and create fair brackets automatically.
Not random. Not guesswork. Math.
It worked. What used to take two hours now took 30 seconds. Parents stopped complaining because they could see the system was fair. Coaches stopped trying to game the brackets because there was nothing to game.
Other leagues noticed. They asked if they could use it. So we kept building.
Where We Are Now
Snapdown has grown into a complete platform for wrestling leagues and tournaments. Digital scoring. Live results. Parent notifications. Season-long stats. Tournament brackets.
But the core is still the same: make running wrestling events less painful.
We started with youth leagues, and we've expanded to clubs, open tournaments, and events of all sizes. If you're running wrestling and need software that actually works, we're building for you.
The other platforms? Directors and fans both complain about them. Outdated design. Clunky navigation. Too many clicks to find what you need.
We built Snapdown to be different — intuitive, streamlined, and powerful. If you're still doing brackets by hand or fighting with software that frustrates everyone, let's talk.

How We Build
Design That Works
We obsess over design and function. Fancy is fine — as long as it's also intuitive and useful.
Built for Volunteers
Most league directors aren't IT people. The software should work without a manual.
