Creating the event is self-serve and takes a few minutes. Before it counts we'll walk your format, tell you how we'd set it up, and hand you a practice event. Documentation and walkthrough videos stay available for whoever needs them. Weigh-ins, scoring, and the floor are yours.

Compare the platform fees
TrackWrestling publishes a $2 per-wrestler registration fee plus 3.15% of online payments. Event management is waived when at least 75% of entrants register and pay online. Snapdown standard self-serve individual pricing is a $100 Event Activation Fee plus a $1 Snapdown Platform Fee per active entry. Team tournaments are $50 + $15 per team-division. Payment processing is shown separately. One entry is one wrestler in one division. Two divisions, two entries.

Registration fees also work differently. The Snapdown Platform Fee is a flat per-active-entry amount, not a percentage of your entry price. Show fees separately or give parents one clean all-in price; your Tournament Registration Amount is calculated the same way.

How is Snapdown different from TrackWrestling?
Snapdown builds league matchups after check-in, runs every mat from a Mat Control Center, scores at the table on big buttons, and puts the mat, wait, bracket, and result in a native app with no ads. Registration is included at a flat per-entry rate, the price is published, and you get a walkthrough and a practice event before your first event. Whether that beats what you have depends on your event; the rest of this page is the detail.
Is Snapdown more expensive than TrackWrestling?
It depends on the event and which TrackWrestling services you use. Snapdown standard self-serve pricing is $100 plus $1 per wrestler entry for an individual tournament, or $50 plus $15 per team-division entry for a team tournament. Wrestlers covered by a team entry are not billed again. Payment processing is separate, and Snapdown takes no percentage of your entry price. Your purchase screen shows any custom organizer rate.
Is there an extra fee to use registration?
No separate registration add-on is required. The published wrestler or team-division usage rate applies whether an entry comes through Snapdown, is entered manually, is imported, or is added as a walk-up. Online card payments include a Payment Processing Fee, and the purchase screen shows the full total before payment.
Can I switch from TrackWrestling to Snapdown?
Yes. We will walk through your format, recommend a setup, and provide a free practice event for your staff. Your team runs the event, with help documentation and walkthrough videos available whenever somebody needs them.
What tournament formats does Snapdown support?
Round robins, pools, brackets from 4 to 64, double elimination, pool-to-bracket, and dual meets.
Do parents have to pay to follow a tournament?
Not for the basics. Your per-entry fee covers basic app access for the families at your event, and the experience is ad-free. Live scoring as the match happens, push notifications, and advanced stats are a Snapdown PRO subscription at $5/mo that the parent buys.
